ATTORNEY PROFILES

Sergio A. Rodriguez is an attorney who was drafted in 1998 by one of the "big five" accounting firms in Bogotá, Colombia. He provided advice and representation for multinational corporate clients in the areas of taxation and commercial law. Thereafter, Mr. Rodriguez came to California in 1999 to further his education in the area of business law and obtained a MBA in 2000.

Mr. Rodriguez has extensive experience in the area of law-firm management; however, motivated by his passion for the legal field he maintained his involvement with the legal world and volunteered to procure experience in the area of Immigration Law. In this respect, he has acquired enormous experience in many different areas of Immigration Law and has worked successfully on the following type of immigration matters: Immigration appeals; deportation cases involving asylum and/or cancellation of removal; labor-based immigrant and non-immigrant applications; and naturalization and citizenship cases.

During his tenure with RRJ Law (since 2003) he has also acquired experience in other areas such as residential real estate litigation, taxation law, and general civil litigation. His dynamic personality provided the perfect match to assist RRJ Law in the opening and implementation of the RRJ Law office in Irvine, CA. Currently, Mr. Rodriguez has also been entrusted with the opening and development of the Inland Empire office in Ontario, CA. RRJ Law-Ontario is open and growing under his leadership.

Lastly, Mr. Rodriguez played professional tennis in Spain, France and Germany, and is fluent in the Spanish and German languages as well.
