Although born in Thailand, Elsy was raised and educated in Southern California. She graduated in honors with an accounting degree from California State University, Northridge. Elsy continued her education at Loyola Law School and interned with an international law firm in Bangkok after receiving her law degree. After her time in Bangkok, she decided to return to Southern California and worked as the compliance officer for a local investment advisory firm. Elsy holds various professional licenses in the field of law, investment and real estate.
Once her three-years old son was born (and with the support from her husband and family), Elsy decided to be a full-time stay-at-home mother. Taking a break from her diaper duty, Elsy joined the Jan Copley law firm in January 2006.
Elsy enjoys spending quality time with her family, especially watching her son discover new experiences. When she wants some alone time, she hits the gym with her yoga mat in tow. Elsy also loves outdoor activities like hiking, camping, and biking (anything to get some fresh air in Southern California). In addition, she shares one of her husband’s passions — watching various sporting events, especially USC and 49ers football games, and of course, Lakers basketball games (only when they win).
